I read comics many times as a child. one of my favorite characters Arthur was the justice-sharing little ghost. I decided to crochet his figure. Well, this is how it went.

To crochet this cute phantom you need:

  • yarn in white and black (100% cotton, 100g)

  • 3.0 mm crochet hook

  • fiberfill

  • big sewing needle and scissors

The finished crochet phantom is about 29 x 13 cm.

Skill level: intermediate

Abbreviations:

ch = chain

Arms (make 2):

Start crocheting with fingers. Stuff slightly as you go.

Work with white yarn.

Thumb and pinky finger:

Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring {6}

Rnd 2-4: sc in all 6 st {6}

Fasten off.

Other fingers (make 2):

Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring {6}

Rnd 2-5: sc in all 6 st {6}

Fasten off.

Do not cut the yarn when you finish the pinky finger, continue crocheting the palm.

Rnd 5: (sc in next 3 st of finger) repeat this for 3 fingers, turn and continue working on the back of the hand: (sc in next 3 st of finger) repeat this for 3 fingers {18}

Rnd 6: sc in all 18 st {18}

(After crocheting the fingers together, we can see small holes between the fingers. We can easily get rid of them using the yarn ends of the fingers. Weave the yarn through the holes between the fingers and tie a knot. To make them invisible hide them in the fingers.)
